What we offer:

This program is designed to introduce children from the ages of 4 to 6 to hockey.

Players receive progressive instruction in the important skills and fundamentals of hockey in an easy-to-learn game-based format, all the while having lots of fun!

Instruction is aimed at experienced skaters who are ready to move onto the next challenge!

Please note this program is designed for children who are already comfortably pushing and gliding on the ice and have basic stopping abilities. This is not intended for beginners who have little-to-no skating experience. Beginner/Intermediate:

This class is aimed at experienced skaters who wish to get started in hockey.

Players registered in this class should already know how to push and glide comfortably, stop, skate backwards, turn, and above all, a desire to develop their new skills!

WINTER 2021

Online registration is available for returning customers to the Tots Hockey program as well as Learn to Skate participants who have been moved up to Tots Hockey by their instructors.

For Tots Hockey classes, online registration is only available to players currently registered in a Tots Hockey or Learn to Skate class at Excellent Ice in the Winter 2020 season who have been approved to participate in the Tots Hockey program, because our registration system requires internal prerequisites. If you do not meet these criteria, please call us at 514-695-4368 to complete your registration or discuss class options.

In the event that you are eligible to do a Tots Hockey class but the system tells you you do not meet the requirements, please give us a call. It is possible that in checking off the prerequisites, we may have missed some players. HEAD’S UP!!!

Full hockey equipment is mandatory for all players, including jock/Jill straps. No participant will be allowed on the ice without appropriate equipment.

The instructors reserve the right to move a player to a class of a different level than the one they’ve registered in if they feel that this would be in their best interests.

VACCINATION PASSPORT

As of September 1, the COVID-19 vaccination passport will be required for all persons 13 years of age and older. This proof can be presented in three ways:

In a paper format;
In a PDF format on your mobile device;
From the VaxiCode app.

Please note that for all formats, proof of identification with photo will be required.

As of September 1st, the wearing of a mask will be mandatory for all customers 3 years +.

Please ensure that you arrive with a mask as Excellent Ice Kirkland will not be providing them to customers.

WAIVER

All players are responsible for ensuring that they follow the safety guidelines put into place by Excellent Ice Kirkland. Each player is responsible for following the facility rules. Failure to comply with these directives will result in the immediate removal from the facility.

All participants (including coaches and instructors) must always wear a CSA approved hockey helmet and skates on the ice. Contracts must be signed prior to ice times.

By registering in our program, you assume the risks associated with participation in sporting activities and waive the right to claim damages from Excellent Ice.

Persons using these facilities do so at their own risk. The owner and operator of these facilities, EXCELLENT ICE (KIRKLAND) PRO LTD., its directors and employees shall not be responsible for any loss or injury occurring in connection with the usage of these facilities. The users agree to waive and release EXCELLENT ICE (KIRKLAND) PRO LTD., its lessees, directors, and employees from all claims for loss or injury however caused that may occur while using these facilities, including claims for loss and injury that may be caused or contributed to by the negligence of EXCELLENT ICE (KIRKLAND) PRO LTD., its lessees, directors, or employees.

The signed assumes all risk of personal injury or damage that may result in my participation.
